CDL 中文备考 - 路检英语 - Privacy Policy

CDL 中文备考 - 路检英语 is an iOS app developed by Mingtu LLC that provides a free Chinese CDL question bank and paid road test English (ELP) listening training. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app.

CDL 中文备考 - 路检英语 has no account system; you do not need to register or log in to use the app. We hold no server containing your personal data. The one server we run receives only the anonymous usage counts described in section 5, and nothing in those counts belongs to you.

Study progress is stored on your device and in your own iCloud key-value store.

The shadowing feature uses the microphone to record you reading English aloud so you can compare your own reading with the reference audio. Recordings are held temporarily on your own device, deleted as soon as you leave that question, never uploaded to any server, and not accessible to us.

iOS asks for microphone permission the first time you use shadowing. Declining it does not affect any other part of the app.

Apart from purchase transactions handled by Apple StoreKit, CDL 中文备考 - 路检英语 makes two kinds of outbound request.

Version check. At most once a day the app asks Apple's App Store whether a newer version is available, so it can let you know to update. That request carries only the app's own identifier and no personal information.

Anonymous usage counts. The app records actions such as "opened the subscription screen" or "finished the diagnostic" as counts and sends them to our own server, so we can tell which step of the product is failing. These records contain nothing that identifies you: no account, no device identifier, no advertising identifier, and none of your answers, scores, recordings, or anything you type in the app. Each time you open the app it generates a temporary number used only to group actions within that one session. It expires when the app closes, is never stored on your device, and cannot be linked to you across sessions. The counts go to our own server and pass through no third-party analytics company.

If either request fails, the app keeps working exactly as before, and no offline feature is affected.

Specifically:

• No collection of personally identifiable information
• No third-party analytics service; usage counts are received by our own server
• No device identifiers and no advertising identifiers
• No ads
• No recordings, answers, or scores are ever uploaded

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify users through an app update. Your continued use of CDL 中文备考 - 路检英语 constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
